I believe the cherry pick… yes, is a system flaw… they don’t exit as “a five man unit”… but I think they are coached for home run passes like Johnson’s pass or for the high lob clear-pass… trying to get the opponents d to back off… the Stars do it regularly.
Both 1st and 2nd lines seem off kilter… when do you shuffle it up??? Is that an overreaction??? And, 4th line needed Smith’s hard nosed play imo… I thought Daddy would fit in there… I was wrong.
Harley was awful. Daddy shouldn’t play. Officiating proved once again that hockey has the worst of any professional sport.
It was a groundhog day feeling for me last night.
I just feel that we will be unable to win 4 games against them. They just seem to know how to play us.
How many real off of rush chances last night? You know, our bread and butter to score goals.
One factor that does not show on the score sheet is coaching. Is Cassidy a much better coach/tactician then PDB?
Nice catch on Benn. He has lifted his game by joining with youth on his line. But, he has lacked in defense for a long time.

1) scratching Smith
2) starting your 4th line—seemed very Bowness like. I mean, aren’t *we* supposed to be scary because of our depth?
