It’s ridiculous that we can’t see the Dallas Stars preseason games, on any format, broadcast or streamed by fans. 10 years ago I was able to watch my sons home and away high school football games, streamed live, from over 2000 miles away.
But I can’t watch Stars games from 180 miles away… yea, I know, contractual broadcast rights BS…
A contract that gave games to -a movie channel?, and a sports network that shows 80% east coast games??? Not the brightest guys…
Agree on Stanky. He appears to be one of those unique athletes who figures things out, regardless of the level of play, and finds success. I’m here for it.
Most important thing first, I'd really like to know what character the Stars remind you of. Anything from Double Dragon to MK X. With the green color scheme, someone has to be Link from the original NES Zelda game (Esa comes to mind).
Interesting take on the 3rd line (the fact that the Seguin line was referred to as the 2nd line last year was multiple things, but right wasn't one of them. They are the opposite of the FCC line, they aren't anti-hockey, but rather hot mess hockey. It can be fun, but by the end of the night you are annoyed and holding their hair back/bailing them out of jail.
Sad to say it, but PDB won't break up the lines because of the risk that he would assume. If they don't work together, then it is something with the players not getting back to last seasons form. Splitting them up means the lack of performance is your fault. Even if you put them back together, you were the one who interrupted the magic and it just doesn't work like that. It is what makes mid-season coaching changes work, the new coach has minimal expectations, and has no sacred cows that can't be slaughtered. Not calling for PDB's head, but just look at how many lines and pairings are set in stone and how other teams will be able to capitalize on the lack of flexibility.
I would say Akuma from SFIV. Dynamic offensively, well-rounded mobility, but taking damage at a higher rate than others means he can be nitpicked to death.
An Athletic diss AND a Big Trouble in Little China reference in the same piece? This subscription is already paying off.
One of my all-time favorite movies TWO BIG 👍👍 !
love the honey badger reference.
