Great piece as usual.

I understand why Bichsel is on that list, but I cannot help to view him as not a prospect anymore.

If they would keep him up (where he belongs) with the big team, he would be our 4th best D at the end of the year, after Miro, Harley and Lindell.

And he would be more than ready to help this team in their Cup run. This will not be the case if they keep him at the AHL level in order to justify the pitiful Dumba contract.

I agree re: Bichsel, but since there's no guarantee he returns (there is, but I don't want to assume so), I left him on the list.

Great now that I’ve convinced you of that, can I convince you of a Hemming, 2025 1st, Minnatian for Kadri and Andersson trade? lol

I have Bertucci ahead of Minnetian. Just think there is way more upside there. Personally had Bertucci rated late first round. I wouldnt be surprised if Minnetian never plays in the NHL.

I think that's 100% fair. In fact, the more I watch Bertucci, the more I agree. (And not just because Minnetian, on the whole, had a somewhat dull World Juniors).

What’s the deal with Stranges?2 or 3 months ago people were complaining about his skating and about his passing. Some didn’t know how he made the team. Now look at y’all he is just about the Stars top, prospect. So what changed y’all’s mind? Did he get coached up or has he put in the work to get better?

Seems like a bit of both. He really is a different player in terms of connecting more with his teammates. I think his skating is actually better BECAUSE he doesn't do the 10-2 all the time. Also, better linemates this year. Last year, he looked like an interesting long shot. This year, he's been straight up consistent pretty much every game.

Also consider that some sites that do not update such data have Stranges listed at 5'10" 168 lb. But the Stars, at nhl.com, list him now as 6'2" 200 lb. So he has grown from a short twig to a stout man. That will make a huge difference!
