As much as most of us seem to see the issues on defense, does Nill? Does he seem to think there is an issue and is he being overruled by TG? It's one thing to keep things close to the vest, it's another to seem to simply ignore them.
I think Nill sees the issues on defense but he's also loyal when it comes to managing relationships and doesn't want to believe his investments (Suter, Hakanpaa, etc) have somehow underwhelmed. Cognitive dissonance: we all suffer from it.
Wonder if part of the Bichsel calculus in going back to Europe to play involves a plan to play in the World Juniors. He’s a huge part of the Swiss team’s potential lineup, and playing against the best age group peers in the world would be a great experience for him. And I can see why the Stars would be in agreement with his desire to play and compete at World Juniors. Thoughts?
BTW: Sorry about all the spelling errors and grammatic miscues. Didn't have as much time to work on this one as I would have liked. Just saying.
