Based on Bunting's acquisition cost he would have to be actively disastrous to be a regret. It was great seeing his reaction to scoring though. I saw his face and thought man that guy is really stoked to be on this team.
I think the Faksa question is an interesting one. When you have the top two guys back who is coming out? What do you like for a fully healthy squad heading into the playoffs as far as the lineup goes? I’d hate to see Blackwell have to sit for Faksa and lose that speed.
Maybe I have missed your commentary on Wyatt Johnston; besides the domination in front of the net, his entire game has elevated. We all saw Harley's finish this Saturday. It was wicked, however, without the subtle outlet pass, Harley never would have had the opportunity. https://x.com/DallasStars/status/2033010468034424867?s=20
My guess is that it will be Hryzy-Faksa-Back. None of those players have been healthy scratched this year. Maybe Hryzy at the beginning of the year? But surely not since a long time ago.
Right now the Stars biggest problem is not injuries but being able to shut other teams down in the last 3 minutes especially in 6 on 5. They play a really good defensive game until the end and then they can’t get the puck out of their end. They run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Until somebody beat Ottengier, then it’s OT. Did Jake get credit for scoring the goal against the Red Wings?

I think your rationale for being down on (and super wrong about) Hryckowian was logical.
I HOPE Hyry stays in the lineup.
I suspect a Faksa return will move him to the press box but…
Speaking of players who can be shed in the offseason to clear cap- having Hyry waiting to put in a full season makes it easier to do that.

Then what? Blackwell almost certainly in, Faksa, apparently, and now choose from
Hryzy, Hyry, Bastian, Erne
Who sits?

And I’ve left Bäck off the list!
