Well here is where I think Seguin slots back in if he is able to play. Duchene and Grandlund have already jelled so I don’t think Seguin goes back on that line. I think we will see Benn and Seguin reunited with Wyatt Johnston as the center. That gives us 3 outstanding lines. The 4th line will consist of a mix of Steele, Dadonov’s, Borque and Beck. That is about as formidable offense as Dallas as ever put on the Ice. I still don’t think Miro returns this year at last not in 100% Miro form.
You could be right about Bichsel being the odd man out, David. It's my fear (and expectation, even) that the playoffs may be considerably more unkind to our favorite rookie defenseman's mistakes. Though on the other hand, if our *third* line defenseman is eating a nontrivial share of the other team's valuable prep work... is that really such a bad thing?
Was very surprised about your comments on Lian. Just didn’t even consider the possibility of him sitting in the playoffs but now that you bring it up with some actual reasons it has me concerned. I put him above Ceci and Dumba right now.
Seguin will be a tough call. I'd rather see the Stars take their time with him rather than rush him back, especially tossing him into a playoff series when he hasn't played in months. Not to mention all the new faces, new lines that are just beginning to cohere
