Man I was very, very disappointed that Nill didn’t take Emery. He had to have known he was losing Tanav. He could have gotten the same player with a different name in the 5th round as he got in the first. Thank God he bought out Suter. So now what UFA D man does Nill go after.
I just saw where Tanav signed for $4.50 million with the Leafs. It’s hard to believe Nill couldn’t fit that in.its only 250,000 more than his last year contract
Man Dallas went from one of the if not the best prospect pools in the league to one of the worst very quickly (not counting players in the NHL if borque and bieschel get promoted)

It isn't the cap hit, it is the term. Granted TOR will just LTIRetire him.
