For what it's worth, IMHO Miro will always be linked to the fact that we could have draft Makar, with his unbelievable offensive talent.

That's not fair at all by the way.

Miro doesn't need to be taken off the first unit of the PP, but is he the best point runner available on the roster?

Would it be worth trying a forward at point and having Miro in a high slot position?

For me the question regarding Heiskanen centers around the question, is offense not a part uf his game or is he deliberately shackled and told not to play offense.

I mean, over the time he's been here, we've seen several moments where he's jumped up and driven the attack like another famous dman who wore number 4. He's damn good at it when he does it so I've always figured he was being explicitly told to gang back and not jump up to drive the attack.

There's nothing sweeter than a goal by a dman joining the rush as the 4th man.

I think a lot of time you are a product of your environment. By that I mean Lyubushkin has a different d man pairing and a different scheme. Both of those are working in his favor. I still would have liked to have seen Nill sign a goal/point scoring winger than 3 d men.

Reminded of the Stars' terrible PP and the fact that you brought up Carolina's excellent PK, I fully expect Dallas to score a pair on the man advantage tonight
