I'd like to see the Hintz-Johnston-Robertson trio trotted out more in the playoffs.
I'm also beginning to wonder if Mavrik & Lian don't get tasked with dragging CP through the playoffs, at which point I wouldn't mind seeing Logan slot back to his natural center position.
I think fans are legitimately disappointed in Robertson. The 50 goal dalliance was huge last year, and gave us hope for the next Modano. I'm not really pleased with Hintz or Robertson's seasons, though. I feel that they are the offensive leaders on this team, and with as many chances as they've had (Robertson had 51 power play points last season compared to 28 this year, although Hintz is about the same as his average over the last 4 seasons), I feel they left a lot on the table. Add in Jake Oettinger's 3/4 season struggles, and it seems pretty amazing they are where the are right now.
It's a relatively minor complaint in a pretty killer season for the Stars.
I am not sure exactly why but Robo has missed the net/goaltender much, muc more than last year. I don’t know if he is intentionally shooting for tipins or what. But when he put the puck on net he can beat the goalie. Hintz has just had bad shooting luck. It seems like he is always going up against the hot goalies. I think you will see 3 40 goal scorers in a couple of years
